A high-profile crypto strategist and trader is revealing 11 crypto assets that he plans to hold this month as he believes that altcoins are poised to ignite a massive breakout.

In a new tweet, pseudonymous trader Capo says that he plans to keep a bag of Syntropy (NOIA), a protocol that optimizes and encrypts the public internet for its users,  Reserve Rights governance token Reserve Rights Token (RSR), and leading smart contract platform Ethereum (ETH).

In addition, Capo says he plans to hold cybersecurity project Constellation (DAG), decentralized exchange Balancer (BAL), privacy-preserving decentralized database Phala Network (PHA), oracle project Tellor (TRB), autonomous economy platform Sora (XOR), automated market maker PorkSwap (PSWAP), video and gaming protocol Verasity (VRA), and blockchain-based ecosystem Sand.

Capo says he expects altcoins to rally, particularly low-cap coins, as he believes the Others Dominance index, a chart that tracks the performance of the crypto markets excluding Bitcoin and other major altcoins has broken out of a massive five-year consolidation.

“Now is when people move from alts to BTC and alts pump a few days later. Very comfy being mostly in alts to be honest.”

Looking at NOIA, Capo believes that the altcoin is at the early stages of a massive parabolic move that would allow it to print gains of over 160% against Bitcoin (NOIA/BTC) from its current price of 0.00001229.

“ NOIA /BTC. Someone said parabola?”

As for Reserve Rights Token, Capo predicts that it has an upside potential of over 220% against Bitcoin (RSR/BTC) from its current value of 0.00000155.

“RSR /BTC. This wants to pump hard.”

The trader is also watching the movement of Ethereum. He says the ascent of the second-largest cryptocurrency will not stop at $10,000.

“Always step by step, but I don’t think the ETH top for this cycle will be $10,000. It will be higher.”

At time of writing, Ethereum is en route to printing a new all-time high as it soars above $3,000, according to CoinMarketCap.

Cryptocurrency investor and analyst Tyler Swope announced three small-capital altcoins that he believes have the potential to provide a huge boost to their cryptocurrency portfolios. In a new video, Swope introduced Sora Network (XOR), a project that runs in the Polkadot (DOT) ecosystem. The popular name, who made statements about Altcoin, used the following statements: “So what can come from Sora Network? Well, Polkaswap is coming, Uniswap and beyond for the Polkadot ecosystem… So what exactly is Polkaswap? It will be a scalable cross-ecosystem exchange platform. You will be able to trade Kusama (KSM), Polkadot and Ethereum-based assets through Polkaswap interfaces. ” The cryptocurrency commentator says that in addition to cross-chain interoperability, Sora Network is also leading the responsibility of developing the infrastructure needed to distribute central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Swope emphasizes that Hyperledger Iroha is already strengthening Cambodia’s CBDC, which has the potential to facilitate millions of transactions in the future. Second on Swope’s list is the DeFi Pulse Index (DPI), a market-valued weighted index that tracks the performance of various decentralized finance (DeFi) assets: “So this set is basically a tokenized index fund that tracks and weighs itself against the best DeFi projects. The fund is fully transparent across token sets, including holdings with Uniswap (UNI), Aave (AAVE), yearn.finance (YFI) and more. And this token set has been on the rise lately. But DPI is just a set of tokens. A basket of altcoins. This is not actually a crypto money project. ” Swope notes that DPI is only one of many incoming index funds. He also hopes that as the indices are ERC-20 tokens, they can be pledged as collateral or used to aggregate returns in DeFi ecosystems. Third on the list of the crypto analyst is Index Cooperative (INDEX), which he says is the governance token that powers index funds. About this coin, Swope said, “They explain how INDEX works on their website. Index Coop creates and maintains the world’s best crypto index products. All index products are always fully collateralized. What about their first product? It is the DPI ”.

Yes, it has been and for a good while now.” Swope emphasizes that Hyperledger Iroha is already powering Cambodia’s CBDC with the potential to facilitate millions of transactions in the future. Number two on Swope’s list is DeFi Pulse Index (DPI), which is a capitalization-weighted index that follows the performance of various decentralized finance (DeFi) assets. “So this set is basically a tokenized index fund, which tracks and weights itself based on the top DeFi projects. And the fund is fully transparent on token sets including the holdings with the likes of Uniswap (UNI), Aave (AAVE), yearn (yearn.finance (YFI)) and more. And this token set has been pushing up feverishly as of late… But the DPI is just a token set. It’s a basket of altcoins. It’s not really from a token project per se.” ADVERTISEMENT Swope notes that DPI is only one of the many index funds that are coming. He also expects that since the indexes are ERC-20 tokens, they can be put up as collateral or used to farm yields in DeFi ecosystems. Prominent crypto influencer and trader Tyler Swope is naming five altcoins that he says are set to erupt in the first quarter of 2021.

In a new installment of Chico Crypto, Swope tells his 160,000 YouTube subscribers that he’s keeping a close eye on projects that tie back to the Polkadot (DOT) ecosystem and Polkadot parachains. At the top of his list is Kusama (KSM) which is Polkadot’s canary network. Teams can use Kusama’s scalable network of blockchains to innovate or run experiments on their protocols in preparation for deployment on Polkadot.

Swope highlights that projects looking to leverage Polkadot’s limited number of parachains must all go through Kusama.

“Once parachains ramp up, there may only be a few parachain slots unlocked every few months. If you take that into account, for the first year after parachains go live, every few months would only equal at max 12 a year and only two to three after the first months. So the ones who have followed the correct path to a parachain through Kusama are more likely to be ready to win these auctions.” 

The second altcoin on Swope’s list Robonomics Network (XRT). The crypto influencer says that Robonomics is the most technically advanced team in the preparation process en route to a Polkadot parachain.

“So Robonomics on Rococo testnet? Check. It’s right there in the Github. How about Robonomics as a parachain on Kusama? Check. It happened back in May.” 

In addition, Swope emphasizes that Robonomics has a grand vision of transforming its Kusama parachain into a Polkadot relay chain.

“They aren’t aiming for a parachain. They are aiming for a relay chain. That is the goal. They also say, ‘By the time the Polkadot network is technically ready to accept 100 parachain projects and the Kusama network is successfully connected as a parachain in the Polkadot slot, Robonomics will be ready to introduce its own parachain of parachains to multiply the bandwidth.” 

At number three is Energy Web Chain (EWT), which Swope says bears similarity to Robonomics.

“Energy web isn’t just pushing for a simple slot, but filling that slot with another relay chain which can host multiple other parachains itself, not just be a single parachain or parathread, which is suitable for some DApps and projects.” 

Fourth is Sora Network (XOR) which Swope says is leading the charge in building the infrastructure needed to deploy central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

“I’ve been super bullish on Sora Network… They have even put out a detailed Medium post with their parachain slot plans.” 

Number five is Bifrost (BNC), which is slated to participate in an auction for a parachain slot in Q1 next year, says Swope.

“They have a mint drop going on where you can lock Ethereum (ETH) and receive their BNC tokens for a sweet go live in Q1 2021.”

Polkadot is a next-generation blockchain protocol with the objective to bring multiple blockchains together into a single network. The protocol builds on the foundations of previously launched blockchain networks like Ethereum and Cardano. The Polkadot blockchain seeks to provide a framework where individuals can effortlessly build their own blockchains, and it offers transparent and seamless exchange of data among different blockchains.

Back in 2017, Parity Technologies launched Polkadot as an open-source project, in collaboration with the Web3 Foundation. Dr. Gavin Wood, the mastermind behind the Polkadot crypto is Dr. Gavin Wood, co-founder of Ethereum and the author of the Solidity smart contract programming language. Robert Habermeier – the co-founder of Polkadot, is well known for being a distinctive member of the Rust programming language community. 

The four pivotal elements that keep the Polkadot blockchain functioning properly are the Relay Chain, the Parachains, the Parathreads, and the Bridges. Let’s find out a little more in detail about them, shall we?

The Relay Chain is the central Polkadot blockchain where all transactions are validated. The Relay Chain separates the addition of new transactions on the chain and the act of validating them, which allows the Polkadot blockchain to facilitate speedier transactions than most of its contemporaries. The Relay Chain is responsible for the network’s security, consensus, and cross-chain interoperability.

The Polkadot Relay Chain uses a variation on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm, dubbed the Nominated-Proof-of-Stake (NPoS). This allows any user staking the Polkadot coin, DOT, to play one or more of the following roles on the network: 

Parachains are the independent blockchains running on top of the Relay Chain. Parachains make use of the Relay Chain’s resources to confirm the accuracy of the transactions made on top of them. Each Parachain on the Polkadot blockchain is meant to serve a specific purpose. Every parachain is maintained by the collator responsible for producing blocks on that chain. 

Parathreads operate much the same way as a full parachain. The basic difference between parachains and parathreads is the fee structure. The registration of a parachain on the Polkadot blockchain is done through a governance proposal or a parachain slot auction. However, there’s a set fee for Parathread registrations that is much lower than the cost of registering a Parachain.

Bridges are the special Parachains that connect the blockchains running within the Polkadot ecosystem to external blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, and Cosmos. This allows the seamless transfer of tokens between the Polkadot blockchain and outside networks without requiring a centralized exchange.

Polkadot doesn’t have to employ a singular blockchain to provide all kinds of services since the parachains allow the Polkadot ecosystem to employ separate, specialized blockchains to serve different purposes. 

The best thing about the Polkadot parachains is that they are able to cooperate by communicating with each other. Along with enabling different token transfers, the parachains can exchange messages and ask for information. 

While almost all blockchains that came before the Polkadot crypto had issues with the swift processing of transactions, Polkadot does not suffer from that same problem. Since all the parachains process transactions and produce blocks parallelly with the Relay Chain, the speed of the network overall is increased by a significant margin. 

In the case of almost all of the Polkadot blockchain’s predecessors, blockchain upgrades sometimes require forking the network, which takes quite a lot of time and effort. Hard forks especially can be quite difficult for the community members, even causing network splits like Bitcoin Cash. However, with the Polkadot crypto, the parachains and the main blockchain can upgrade themselves without the need for a chain fork. This particular feature allows the projects built on the Polkadot blockchain to implement and adapt to technological updates with ease.

The Polkadot coin, DOT, maintains the Polkadot crypto ecosystem. The Polkadot blockchain is designed to be fully run by its community, and the network allows its users to govern the network in a completely decentralized manner. They can vote on an existing proposal or can propose any changes to the protocol.

With the numerous unique features of the Polkadot blockchain, it’s no wonder that various projects have been building on Polkadot since 2018. These Polkadot projects are diversified and span several industries. Let’s take a look at some of the most popular Polkadot projects built within the ecosystem till date:

Founded in 2019 also by Gavin Wood, Kusama is based on the same codebase as the Polkadot blockchain, albeit being an early, unaudited release. The networks share the same underlying architecture, and governance on both the platforms is decentralized and permissionless, so all users who own the native tokens get a say in how the networks are run (Kusama’s native coin is called the KSM).

Kusama is Polkadot’s canary network. The title comes from the idea that canary birds were used in coal mines so they could detect Carbon Monoxide and other toxic gases and warn the miners of their presence. Similarly, Kusama plays the role of a canary by detecting any shortcomings or vulnerabilities in the Polkadot codebase. Kusama was developed to be a test bed for any and all new features planned to be implemented on the Polkadot blockchain. Once the new features land on Kusama and prove to work just fine, they are integrated with the Polkadot crypto network.

In a recent interview, with Justin Sun when asked about Elon Musk expressing his enthusiasm for Bitcoin (BTC) and how he has talked about Dogecoin, the interviewer also asked how it is possible to see TRON slip out of the top most favored cryptocurrencies by market cap.  Further asked, why do you think it is and how do you get people more enthusiastic about itself.

Justin Sun, expressed that he believes that the meme is very important in the cryptocurrency industry, and that offering cryptocurrency is welcomed by the millennial and the generation Z – the new generation in this kind of situation – he expressed, “I believe meme is the answer.”

Dogecoin, the reason it is loved by Elon Musk, I think definitely it is because, Dogecoin is one of the most famous meme coin in the industry. And, also we have seen a lots of these cryptocurrency, also start to have these kinds of meme on the crypto.

The interviewer asked speaking of meme, we just have the Game Stock Drama, you said at the height of the Game Stock Share price that you would buy 10 million dollar’s worth? Did you do it? Sun replied, we already bought 10 million GME, one million AMC, and one million SORA. And, the game stock price drop and we just have 2 millions left.

Okay, you are going to hold.  Yes, I am going to hold even if I lose money on the GME stock, but I still believe that this is a paradigm shift, between what is going to be the most valued stock in the market.

And, the shift to this kind of a community driven or internet community driven investment is the future.  So, when the interviewer asked if this is the meme culture point that you made right? Sun replied, “Exactly.” He further stated, people make investment decisions based on community and feeling rather than fundamentals?  Exactly, so, and I believe, that these kind of culture and sentiments and also community like driven is also a kind of the fundamentals.

The interviewer asked, speaking on spending money, you spent quite a bit during the famous lunch with Warren Buffet. I was just thinking, at the end of the lunch you gave him a Bitcoin, that is probably his successful investment of 2020. 

Sun replied yes.  He also stated that he gave Warren Buffet originally two advice on why to Buy Bitcoin and Why Buy Tesla?  He stated, he can make 12 times more than what he just gave him.

Interviewer stated, so, I wanted to talk about another project that you have taken in the decentralized space.  You are talking about doing a Clubhouse like app, And, I am curious about how a project like that matches with some of the sensitivities that you have seen in China – speech and censorship.  How are you going to pull that off?

Sun replied, definitely, I believe that Clubhouse is very popular in United States right now. And, I believe that Clubhouse is a very revolutionary product. He says they are strangers, but it is referred by your friends, so you can, see their social network connection while of course every country has their regulations.  So, we definitely are going to have these kinds of moderations to have to identify it based on the countries and the different kinds of regulations.  So, for example like the apps go round in several different types of counties, we will also have the server split from the major countries, guarantee the customer privacy, the same time also help us to moderate.

Analyst and influencer Tyler Swope is revealing the top ten crypto picks in his portfolio.

Swope, who anticipates a big Bitcoin bull wave to close out the year, says he’s still a Chainlink (LINK) proponent despite its losses in the past two months. He remains a big believer in the decentralized oracle network and says LINK is still his number one pick for HODLing. The altcoin now makes up 40% of his portfolio.

“So why am I going to still hold every single one of my LINK with a grip tighter than Sly Stallone? Well it comes down to two things: Staking with LINK is still on the horizon, and rollups – not the fruit type.” 

The crypto trader notes that the much-hyped Arbitrum Rollup’s new testnet will be run by Chainlink nodes. LINK is trading at $10.80 at time of writing, down from its all-time-high of $19.85 in mid-August, according to CoinMarketCap.

Swope’s number two HODL pick is Bitcoin, but he says that evaluation is close to changing. BTC makes up 17% of portfolio.

Ethereum is his number three pick after the asset’s 82% price increase since late May. ETH represents 12% of his portfolio and he says he’s planning on adding to that position.

Energy Web Token (EWT) is at number four in Swope’s portfolio after nearly 94% gains since late May. The analyst reports that the German government partnered with Energy Web to build a prototype identity registry for Germany’s energy market. EWT is 6% of his portfolio.

REN is Swope’s number five, with gains of nearly 300% since late May. It’s also 6% of his portfolio. Number six is Unibright (UBT), which lost value since May and is now just 5% of his portfolio, down from 15% in late May.

Kusama (KSM) is his seventh HODL pick after increasing more than 400% in value since late May. The asset is 3% of his portfolio. Number eight is Rocket Pool (RPL), which, by contrast, only saw about a 12% increase since May. RPL is 2% of his portfolio.

Swope’s ninth pick is XDAI Stake (STAKE), which makes up 1% of his portfolio, and his tenth pick is Sora (XOR), also at 1%.
